• In the year 1949, Mr. Om Prakash Gupta started making candles in his home with the assistance of his family members in Old Delhi. Initially the products were sold door to door. He was the only marketing personnel for the retailers and wholesalers.

• With his individual efforts, he began manufacturing in the newly acquired premises bade in Naraina Industrial Estate, Phase -1, in the year 1969.

• Gradually he added a wax refining plant in the year 1978 for conversion of ISI marked paraffin wax from slack wax.

With Mr. Guptas individual effort, today the company has reached a significant position in paraffin wax candle industry.
